Katie F. Fowler is a seasoned domestic and family law litigator. She is a board certified specialist in family law and is experienced in all forms of domestic litigation, including custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, adoption, and termination of parental rights. Katie is also skilled in alternative dispute resolution, and is a DRC-certified mediator in Family Financial Settlements. Before joining Fitzgerald Litigation, Katie was a partner at Morrow, Porter, Vermitsky, Fowler & Taylor.

Katie was born in Winston-Salem, and attended Wake Forest University, receiving a BA, with Honors, in 2001. She attended Wake Forest University School of Law, graduating in 2005, and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2005. In 2005, she received an award from the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers for Outstanding Achievement. Katie has been recognized by SuperLawyers as a Rising Star in Family Law. Only 2.5% of attorneys in North Carolina receive this distinction. Katie also plans Continuing Legal Education seminars and speaks at seminars on various Family Law topics.

When not in court or in the office, Katie spends time with her husband, Brad, and two daughters, Austin and Jillian. She also is active in the Winston Salem community as a volunteer.
